The following qualifications are preferred but not required for the ideal candidate:

​

• 2+ years of successful job related professional experience in the surveying industry or a Bachelor’s Degree with 32 credits in land surveying.

​

• Ability to perform mathematical calculations.

​

• Ability to work independently and balance the workload to accommodate demands of the job to exceed client expectations.

​

• Have a positive attitude.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

​

• Preparing site development plans utilizing AutoCAD and Civil 3D

​

• Preparing landscape plans and details utilizing Civil 3D

​

• Coordination with developers, architects, and government staff

​

• General CAD drafting - site, demolition, utilities, etc.

​

• Grading, rendering, stormwater modeling

​

• Preparing stormwater management plans to comply with MN regulatory guidelines

​

• Engineering cost estimates

​

• General office management / coordination of duties
