The following are preferred for the ideal candidate:

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Landscape Architecture from an accredited program.

• Minimum of 8 years of experience in landscape architecture, with a strong background in project management.

• Professional licensure as a Landscape Architect (PLA) required.

• Proven experience managing large-scale projects, budgets, and teams.

• Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain strong client relationships and secure new business opportunities.

• Desire to be on an ownership track within the organization.

• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, SketchUp, and other industry-related software.

• Strong understanding of site planning, grading, planting design, and construction documentation.

• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

• Ability to work collaboratively and independently in a fast-paced environment.

• Experience with sustainability principles, green infrastructure, and resilient design practices preferred.​

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

• Lead and manage multiple landscape architecture projects simultaneously, ensuring successful execution from concept to completion.

• Develop and oversee project schedules, budgets, and deliverables to meet client expectations and company standards.

• Provide leadership and mentorship to junior and mid-level designers, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.

• Prepare and review conceptual designs, construction documents, and technical drawings.

• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, including architects, engineers, contractors, and regulatory agencies.

• Conduct site analysis, research zoning and regulatory requirements, and oversee the permitting process.

• Actively participate in business development efforts, including identifying new project opportunities, preparing proposals, and maintaining client relationships.

• Represent the company at industry events, networking opportunities, and client meetings to generate new business and expand the firm's reach.

• Ensure design quality and sustainability principles are integrated into all projects.
